What a little love can do: A haunted mom and pop

So many odd dolls, figurines, antiques and lost items find their way to me and sometimes, I keep them.  Sometimes, an object seems to call to you, like it's telepathically whispering to you about the connection you might have.  A mystery, an attachment, a similar story, but perhaps there is something more to it than just that...

The Curio Box experiment is growing and with each new post, new item and new sale, I learn something more about psychometric energy.  Correlations about why which objects, which stories, which mysteries find their way to certain people.  The 'haunted' items that get purchased the fastest, are always those with a creepy or dark overtone; like the entertainment business.

However, sometimes there are those items that linger around and you know they'll find the perfect home for the perfect family.  Part of my having an item, is telling its story and learning its history. This mom and pop have quite a tale, and though they don't seem scary, they indeed carry a deep affectionate energy with them.
Once you hold them in your hand, feel their weight and their connection to one another, you start to grin from ear to ear.  You can almost feel a warm hug around you and air gets thick like someone were mixing up grits in the next room.  A Southern charm, a rooted love, a grounded energy and perfect for any welcoming room or kitchen alter space.  These two are insperable and love each other for all their abundance and curvaceous love of life. 

When you think of 'haunted' - what do you think? How do you define this? What is the residual energy that finds its way from one person to another and is it something 'alive' all on its own?
