National Pizza Day: Who Needs an Excuse?
I adore Pizza.
No secret here, I'll eat almost anything on a pizza, I'll dip it in honey, ranch, hot sauce or put pineapples on it. Give it to me cold, hot, stuffed, white or red with anchovies and salt! Cold beer, bubbly soda, folded in half or stabbed with a fork. I was raised on Pizza Hut, Godfather's, Pizza Shoppe and the Pink Stuff, and later enjoying Pizza at Shakespeare's for college. As an adult, I fell for Neo Pizza and homemade pizza, grilled or fried. Pizza Luce, pizzas delivered by solar car with caped local heroes or a late night gut-rot Pizza Roll. I'll never complain or refuse Pizza.
