Bake Cookies Day - my favorite...

cookies are the quick go-to snack in our house, back when we were all addicted to sugar. Tea cookies, chocolate chip cookies, even raw cookie dough didn't have a chance under my roof about two years ago. However, after struggling through PCOD (which is usually treated with no sugar diets and Metformin), cookies became scarce.





Adding honey and molasses instead of sugars, dates cooked down into a syrup too will work wonders. Trying cranberries and jalapenos, jams and jellies instead of processed cookies and even ginger icing instead of sugar icing. Coconut milk, honey, ginger and cinnamon can make a wonderful glaze.
